Lara Foldvari has been dancing for almost 55 years! She began her training in classical ballet at The Boston Ballet, followed by The New Haven Ballet (nee The Connecticut Ballet).
Lara is an internationally certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor through ACE, the American Council on Exercise; and was a Master Barre Instructor with IBBFA, the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association.
She is also Barre & Soul Academy certified in the American Lotte Berk barre method and Pure Lotte, CoreBarreFit trained with Elisabeth Halfpapp (through Barre Intensity), Barre Intensity, American Barre Technique (ABT) and Barre Above (L2) certified. Lara is also certified by the Physique 57 Barre Academy, The Dailey Method, BarreAmped (including BarreAmped Bounce), and is certified in the ORIGINAL barre class by theLONDONmethod, approved by Esther Fairfax (Lotte Berk's daughter).
She is a Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) teacher, is trained in the Vaganova Method Syllabus of ballet, and is Ballerobica® certified. Lara has completed her Yoga 200-hour Teacher Training Certification through YogaRenew, and was registered with Yoga Alliance. Her Pilates Mat certification is through AFPA. She is also trained in Aqua Barre through SCW.
Lara is also certified in Assisted Stretching with The Stretch Center, and is a JumpSport Fitness Trampoline Credentialed Instructor.
At any given time, she is probably going through another training. Currently she is working on Essentrics ®️ and recently completed Callanetics ®️ (the first instructor to be certified in a decade!)
